I previously made a video about how to Spawn and Play with friends in New World by doing quests side by side.
But for the best coop experience you need to be grouping up with friends and doing New World expeditions. Find out how to expedition with friends in this video.
Expeditions are 3-5 player instanced dungeons that will test your team work and coordination. You will learn lore, solve puzzles and face challenging battles against a variety of mobs and bosses. In other words they are really fun and rewarding.
The first expedition, The Amrine Excavation, has a level 25 recommendation but you can do it as soon as you or a friend has received the Azoth Staff and Amrine Tuning Orb from the main story quest line.
The Azoth Staff is needed to access all expeditions (and to complete corrupted portals and breaches). The Amrine Tuning Orb is the key to the first expedition.
You will receive both these items after completing a mission in the main story quest at around level 20-25.
